Arrival in Matelica and visit to “Enoteca Comunale” and Piermarini theatre. Its structure is in stages: three orders and the gallery; the theatre has an elegant appearance. Wine-tasting and cold cuts in typical cellars where the famous Verdicchio is produced. In the evening move to Fabriano, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to San Severino Marche, center of great, artistic and historical interest, probably arose after the destruction of the ancient Roman city of Septempeda of which remain remains in locality Pieve. Breakfast at the hotel and move to the lovely medieval village of Serrapetrona, famous for the Vernaccia a particular DOCG sparkling red wine, an excellence of Marche’s wines. Every year takes place the event “Appassimenti Aperti” to celebrate the autochthonous grape “Vernaccia Nera”. The producers, will be with their stands in the square of the village, a festive and characteristic meeting place with music, markets and zero kilometer gastronomic delicacies Every year this event is repeated: visitors can see the drying rooms full of bunches, and hear stories that tell of an ancient art of winemaking, a village that is covered with autumn colors and intense aromas of fine wines.
