Arrive in Genga in the afternoon. Welcome by our staff. Hotel accommodation. Meeting with the nature guide who will introduce the program of the following days. Dinner in the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the hike along the paths of Valle Scapuccia, a naturalistic area located within the Frasassi Park. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon visit to the Frasassi Caves, spectacular underground world characterized by a succession of salt, tunnels and small crystallized lakes that show us a truly unique scenery and extraordinary beauty. The erosion of sulphurous water on the limestone rock has given rise to a huge underground kingdom, rich in stalactites and stalagmites, divided by environments with fairy-tale names: “The Great Cave of the wind”, “The Giants”, “The Thirteenth Century Room”, “The Hall of Candles”, “The Hall of Infinity”… Time for the tasting and purchase of food and wine products typical of the area at the square of the Caves’s ticket office. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Whole day dedicated to the excursion of the Green Hall of Valleremita, a real territorial “laboratory” with a fascinating naturalistic path inside the wood that covers the central part of the small and narrow Valdisasso. Going up the paths lined by tall trees you can see an unadorned and severe building: the Hermitage of Santa Maria di Valdisasso. Once inhabited by Benedictine nuns, it was abandoned and donated in the thirteenth century to a community of Franciscans: tradition says that Saint Francis stayed there. The Hermitage kept the famous Polyptych of Gentile da Fabriano, now replaced with a copy. Packed lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon the walk continues in this real “school” of nature rich in ecological peculiarities and evocative, unforgettable views. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Cingoli, near Monte San Vicino. Visit the Green Hall, whose paths offer an exceptional amount of historical and naturalistic information. Lunch in the restaurant housed in Palazzo Castiglioni, birthplace of Pope Pius VIII. In the afternoon visit of the city of Cingoli with the Town Hall and the Clock Tower, the Cathedral and the Church of San Nicolò, which preserves works by Lorenzo Lotto and Jacopo Salimbeni. Dinner in a typical restaurant. At the end return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day excursion to the Conero Park. Located on the most interesting promontory of the Adriatic coast offers a spectacular views of the sea. long the paths that start and lead to small towns, you are immersed in the scents and colors of the Mediterranean. Lunch in a typical restaurant of the area, where you can taste fish dishes, ideal with white wine, from the Marche par excellence, the “Verdicchio”. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, return to the place of origin.
