We will visit Piazza Grande, Palazzo dei Consoli, Palazzo Pretorio, Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Bargello where you can see the “Porta del Morto”, an architectural element typical of the Umbrian and Marche villages from which according to legend the coffins of the dead passed. It’s possible to reach the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo via the cable car that leads from the historic center to the Monte Igino. The Basilica, built on pre-existing medieval buildings, was enlarged at the beginning of the sixteenth century, when the construction of the convent and the cloister dates back. The sober simplicity of the exterior is contrasted by the richness of the interior with five naves and a semicircular apse. Transfer to Perugia for dinner and overnight stay.
