Workshop for the creation of a silver jewel

Do you want to feel the thrill of creating a unique jewel with your own hands? With Goldsmith Gioielli D’Arte you can! We will start from the project, drawing your silver jewel and then we will move to the fusion at 1000 degrees in a crucible. Once melted the silver will be cast in a bracket to become a ingot ready to be laminated, in flush or sheet, according to the object you want to create, being silver a noble metal ductile and malleable. We will then begin to shape and take form to the jewel using the techniques of welding, filing and sanding. Finally, the most important process will be the polishing, to give sheen to your creation!

Mauro Ragnoni attended the art school in Fano where he graduated in metal art. Mauro Ragnoni attended the art school in Fano where he graduated in metal art. After 4 years of training in a goldsmith’s workshop in Fano, he opened in 1979 his shop “Goldsmith Gioielli D’Arte” in Fabriano where he currently works. In 2018, he has received the award for 40 years of activity from Cna of Ancona.
